Biography

Brian Crist is Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of Figure Technology Solutions, Inc., where he leads the company’s legal, compliance, and corporate governance functions.

Mr. Crist brings more than 25 years of experience across financial services, payments, and digital assets. Prior to joining Figure, he served as Chief Legal & Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary of FalconX, a leading digital asset prime brokerage. Before FalconX, he held senior legal leadership roles at eBay and Uber, where he built and led global legal and compliance functions spanning payments, lending, and other financial products and services. At Uber, he guided this organization through a period of rapid global growth and the company’s initial public offering.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Crist was Chief Counsel for Citi’s Enterprise Payments business, where he oversaw legal matters for the bank’s digital payments and commerce initiatives, including its relationships with global payment networks. One of the first lawyers to work on mobile NFC payments, he led Citi’s legal work as the launch bank partner for Google Wallet and worked closely with Apple on the early development of Apple Pay.

Mr. Crist holds a bachelor’s degree from Carleton College and a juris doctor from Harvard Law School.
